Nurturing Care and Support for Parents

Dedicated to providing parents with compassionate, equitable support and gentle guidance during the Postpartum period, my philosophy is centered around partnering with parents to encourage healthy, thriving families for a lifetime. From basic newborn care and offering parents up-to-date evidenced-based education, to tips for optimal emotional and physical recovery, my goal is to create a nurturing environment where parents can bond with their newborn, build confidence in their new role and feel cared for.

I believe that this type of service within a community can be healing, transformative and empowering for families, leading to the overall health and mental well-being for both parent and child.

I proudly support ALL families including single, adoptive/foster parents, LGBTQ2+, heterosexual parents, and the entire wonderful spectrum of growing families with professional, non-judgmental support, and evidence-based information.  I look forward to serving you!

"I can confidently say that you will have zero regrets in having Nikki as your Postpartum Doula. Nikki was a huge part of my postpartum recovery. We were gifted her services and I wasn’t sure at first how it would work having someone in my home during such a vulnerable time. Nikki made me feel cared for, so comfortable, and at ease the moment we met. She has a natural calm and comforting presence that made it so easy to have her support me. Her cooking is amazing and so nourishing.

Nikki is talented and experienced in every capacity that could be needed in supporting a family in their postpartum transition. She is gentle, thoughtful, and I never felt lonely, like many new mamas can feel, due to her genuine listening ear. Nikki is organized and a great communicator.

Mothers and families aren’t meant to parent alone, especially right when baby arrives. A doula can kick start your new life to thriving instead of surviving. Especially a doula as wonderful as Nikki!"

"I'm so incredibly thankful that I crossed paths with Nikki.  Not only is she a remarkable postpartum doula, she's a grade A human being.  Nikki supported us beautifully, even when I didn't know how to convey the help we needed.  She took excellent care of our newborn son, who looked blissfully happy in her arms, cooked us delicious meals, and cleaned our poorly neglected living areas.  But more than that, she cared very deeply about my mental health, an area of doula care that is important to her.  She continually checked in with me and was a wonderful resource of answers for a newbie mom.  I so enjoyed our conversations, which brought hope and joy to our day.  She also cared how my husband was doing through all of this.  I can't say enough great things about Nikki.  You'd be so happy to cross paths with her too."
